Hmm..tofu soaked in bacon fat, now THAT's something that sounds nutritious and delicious. NOT!
Maybe bacon shouldn't be a staple of the BARF diet(like in our diets as well) but can be used as a treat every once in a while? I guess the real question is, to cook or not to cook.
I don't eat bacon so I stick to turkey bacon and or maybe beef bacon. Beef bacon is closer to the pork but is just as fatty... Turkey bacon is yummy and is really lean...for yourself or your dog! Try the turkey it's cheap too! Butterball or Jeanie 'O brand makes it.

Well, how's this? Since there is a teeny chance of parasite infestation (trichina worms) and since cooking removes that issue, and also renders out a bunch of the too-abundant fat, and since bacon never had much in the way of great nutrition to be ruined by cooking, and we're not talking about a diet staple, how about cooking it over low or medium heat (because high-heat frying develops the known carcinogen usually used in commercial bacon)?
I admit that I do give a bit of oven-cooked bacon as a treat when I'm making it anyway (because tofu in baked beans doesn't cut it). It's infrequent and it's small and since I was cooking it anyway.......
