OK, OK, I'll be serious
We have used dogs trained as patrol dogs that are proficient in eveidence search to locate rape scenes. It will have a concentration of odor from humans involved in the altercation. Not too hard to find if the lag time isn't great for any police service dog team with experience.
For older scenes we have used our patrol/human remains detection dog. The dog is trained to find traces of body fluids are various stages in age, a part of a well rounded HRD dog's training.
As to a specific seman detection dog it certainly could be done but I'm not sure I see a need for such a thing. The crime scene investigators have a great range of tools for collecting evidence once the general area is found and basically once we've found it we're not very welcome any more.
I'm a little confused as to why a post with a pic of a pup and a question regarding Siegers would get locked out, but this is acceptable.
Susan - why do you talk with ADMIN about it, OK?
Your old post was locked due to your inability to follow posted *rules* - there are specific areas to post pictures in, but you chose to post them in other areas. Don't like it? Talk with ADMIN. And your snide comments are *not* welcome in this case.
I did not think they would be. That really was not the point. I don't need to talk to ADMIN. We are both adults. I'm sure we can work it out. As for my pic. I just happen to be posting on the day rules changed.
