I live in Poland (Krakow, in the south) and am interested in finding a good GSD. So far I keep leaning toward Czech dogs....I just like the look, and everything I hear about them is good. I have contacted JInpo and am curious if anyone has opinions on their upcoming breedings. Mambo is my first choice right now...as the sire....but I am returning to GSDs after many many years away (I own a Black Russian Terrier now) so i have a lot of catching up to do. This dog will be for personal protection --- (Ive dont quite a bit of training so Im not a novice) so the sport ring qualities are of little interest to me. I need a good personal guard for my travels around tough areas of Poland (and there are many). Thanks in advance.
hi, thanks for the comments. I am going with Jiri down the road here. He has several litters right now. I was wondering if anyone knew much on Lary --- who has Don Vom Rondleitch (i should go look up how that is spelled...but...) and Arminius blood --- but Jiri loves him. There is thread here complaining about Don a lot....and I just wonder about the Arminius?? The other breeding looks super though, with Mambo -- a dog I love. Still the female in the Lary breeding is wonderful....so I just wanted any thoughts before I head down to make a choice. thanks in advance....there is much I need to learn.
Vasn Camp is correct - Arminius Kennels is a show bloodline kennel in Germany. They produce pretty dogs but if you expect a working dog you will NEVER GET IT from Arminius bloodlines or for that matter from any of the German Show bloodlines. You cant take a volkswagon to a NASCAR race and expect to compete. Thread closed.
