Hi Tracy - I am discussing via PM the possibilities of sending this dog to Will, or someone he recommends, for PP training. I believe this dog could be trained and then sold as a PP dog, I am simply not experienced and don't have the resources for this kind of training, and so I need to find someone who is, who would like/is willing to take this dog. The last dog I had that I thought was suitable for PP (Raven) I sent to Tim Cruser, who is excellent but doesn't have room right now for another one. Details of the dog, as far as I know them, I have already shared, but I would have no problem sharing the results of any testing done by a trainer, or perhaps the trainer if he is on this forum would be willing to share once he actually meets the dog and can have a personal opinion about him.

Thanks Molly,
I would look forward to it. Slainte (my male Briard) is what inspired me to seek out different activities more in line with the background of his predecessors. I'm a recently reformed PP clicker trainer. *g*
No one was ever 100% comfortable with my big, black, stranger-disliking dog on an agility course, including me...especially when he had five seconds of free time on the table to notice the judge running up behind me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I'm not wanting to send him anywhere, just eager to find out what options I have for a dog of his mindset.
