I personally use a "A-AH!" for "Um, excuse me! Think about what you are doing/about to do!" and I use "HEY!" for "Absolutly quit now!/NO"
No idea why I use those words.. but they work for me LOL This way I have a MUCH more serious command if I need it, and I don't abuse it by accident or use it when I don't really need it. No does not mean no in my house LOL. I save the absolute no ("HEY!") for ... dog jumping on kids/dog thinking about hauling a$$ after the cats/dirty bites/breaking other OB commands LOL The "A-HA!" is used for... trying to be sneaky about looking what is on the counter/eyeing up the trashcans/going to eat horse poop/licking the windows... the less 'serious' things.
