Jason,
You're right - links to photo's are allowed and help to manage bandwidth, just like you mentioned.
For the record, Chris is fast as lightening and in outstanding physical condition. We're lucky to have him as a decoy...plus, that same dog ( Atos ) made my triceps look like that on a weekly basis. It's nice to share the fun..
It was a *good* training day today!
Chris, I bought a pair of Football forearm pads and slide them up into my armpits. It makes the work much more enjoyable (unless you like the pain!).
Howard....yep, Atos and Fetz are the training dogs for the proposed decoy camp. Survivors get a nice certificate....
You didn't think that ya'll were gonna get off easy, did ya?
Chris, are you using a trial suit to train in? I have some hard biters here and have a gallais training jacket. They just cannot get me like that. I only see that damage with the trial jackets. What are you? NUTS???
Well, it's a semi-competition suit...and it fits him.
He'd be swimming in my suit due to our size difference, but I've got the Ray Allen "Body Suit" which is the heaviest padded decoy suit made ( good for our really nasty ppd's in training ) and I wear a neoprene anti-pinch gauntlet under the suit. And I still end up bruised by these dogs ( we have some *serious* dogs in our club )
And for the records...yes, Chris is nuts.
I must say I love decoying and nothing usually bothers me. I'm quite the risk taker as a decoy. Will and the guys are always on me because sometimes when working the dog I put my face down WAAYYY to close to theres when I'm trying to give that really hard intense face and eye contact. They usually are cringing on the side and Will is standing there with his paramedic ansemble Decoying releases all kinds of endorphans that relax me I love it, but for the first time, I might have to say, and Will take note. You may have to bring your suit this Saturday, I'm actually hurtin and of course both arms look 100X's worse than the original pictures I showed. I look like a captured soldier. I can't see my arms being healed up enough by Saturday, so everyone stand by for Will's pics
