Speaking of Dar. What ever happened to Rolling Acres Shepherds? Anyone know? If they are completely out of breeding anyone know why? I'm just curious because Dar looks nice and searching the net some of the others look good too!!
Todd sold all his stock and as far as I know is completely out of dogs now.
Last I heard he was moving from Iowa to Texas, but I don't know if that came to pass.
I wish him well, I got a one-in-a lifetime puppy from him.
I've got old contact info for Todd Gastor, but he isn't breeding dogs.
I wish I had purchased Mara. The really nasty parts of the dogs that Will and I have probably come from the dam of the litter, not entirely from Dar.
I think that Dar bred well could give you nice pups for any type of work, but be aware that if the bitch is on the hard and edgy side you should be very careful. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
Rocky went sterile or close to it, Lery Naspo passed away, Dar was sold to someone that doesn't train dogs but breeds working dogs, and the Leerburg females he had were getting on in years.
He had sold his Art z Lipin daughters prior to Lery passing away.
I have no idea what happened to the young dogs he had bred and kept back. He might still have one or two personal dogs. I can't see him selling Danu, I bet he kept her as his housedog.
I have been praying for this for years. Then, I want a certificate. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Todd has a number of skeletons in his closet. Some have been buried some are still hanging in trees. No one I know knows why this happened. But they still continue to show up - as in what happened to the femamle he bought from me named Danu.
