Philippe Jehl Webboard User Reg: 08-31-2001 Posts: 139 Loc: Offline	the "at home again" came with a yellow rubber tag with the number. alos if you do get a chip don't forget to send off the registration info otherwise it is useless. also if you move be sure to get the information updated. My vet also send his part of the registration and I sent mine. once they receive the info they will send you a letter confirming the information (they ask for your phone, adress as well as alternate name and phone number). They also asked for any tattoo # and location to add to their database. It is also not very expensive.

I've not seen any degradation in proficiency nor have I had any problems with any of the dogs that have been microchipped. I have it done strictly for identification purposes, for court issues, should that need arise. Hopefully, none will ever get lost. I'm not saying that isn't possible, I'm just sure hoping it doesn't.
