So How much should I be getting him out? I don't know if you saw my routine but I almost feel it's mean to leave him cooped up as much as I have. Again I feed him and he rests for 2 hours then I either feed him again after taking him out or I exercise him / play with him. Then it's another 2 hours before he eats.
He's still sick and I know I shouldn't stress him. I've learned that the hard way.

Instead of just feeding him, I'd be using most of his meals as rewards for marker training. Nothing huge, just rewarding eye contact, etc. Many dogs happily work for kibble in familiar places.
a little tiny bit of soft serve. Heather said it was more firm than it was soft. I told her I think he may need a little rice or we should just back off the kibble a bit. She disagrees and wants to watch his next poo. I think it's the giardia.
I'd noticed it has been awfully drama-free around here.... questions seem to get answered, and the answer is taken to heart, and put into place. Imagine that.
I hope Gambit is a tough Mali-nut, and grows into a happy, satisfied dog.

I think that Nick has left the building after the last pile up Connie.
That's why I posted. I don't want that pup to suffer. In particular, I was concerned about Nick's original plan to feed raw. The dog recovering from giardia isn't a good candidate for raw.
Nick's quote from a week ago: "Yeah I wasn't about to try raw with him yet. NO WAY! I was going to wait at least 2 months then ask you about it."
