Regarding viewing last poster: if you click on the underlined part of "Last post" in the Posted column, you go immediately to the last post (and last poster). One more step but not a biggie.
Connie, just used the Preview Reply and it works fine - must have been a "hiccup" when you tried.
Also had a problem with Search telling me I couldn't do one at that time.
I like the new setup - thanks Ed and Leerburg folk.
One thing I have noticed is this. Where the old forum took you automatically to the most recent post on a thread, this does not do that. It takes you to the first post in a thread and you need to scroll to get to the most current post.

Help help!
Not getting PMs and can't get to in-box.
No blinking envelope and no email notification (which I received before the board redo).
Under "my stuff," no inbox..... only my "sent" list.
All I can think of is that I have exceeded my "received" limit, which is possible if the new limit is lower. I had about 92 in-box messages when the board redo happened, and I was keeping it weeded out to keep it under the max of 100.
I have a question...in the active topics list it shows you what time the last post was, but doesn't tell you who made it. It only shows the original poster. Is there anyway for me to change that to show the most recent poster instead?
Thanks.
Ed's Comment edited in: The last time we updated the web board my two IT guys completely rewrote the computer code to allow the active topics to look the way they old board did - WHICH WAS TO SHOW THE NAME OF THE LAST POSTER.
I just discussed this with Ryan (my IT manager) and he told me they would have to do that again for this update. He had some concern about how the computer code was written to allow board members to review up to 7 days of active topics. He was concerned about how much work it would take to recode everything if he had to include that feature - WHICH I REALLY LIKE.
So I am inclined to leave this the way it is for awhile. I do the like old way better - where you could look and see who the last poster was.
I'm very, very confused...why can I see the last poster?? It's on the right side of the posts saying something like
"posted 4 minutes 37 seconds ago
Amber Morgan"
Am I drinking too much coffee ?

I see the name of the original poster, but not the last poster. Are you looking at one where the O.P. happens also to be the last poster?
