If it's a short crisp name, you could simply add -er to the end of the word, and it would thus mean something from that place. Let's say he is coming from the town of Graz, he'd be Grazer (prouncouned grahtzer). Of course, odds are good he'll be coming from Villingen-Schwenningen.

Apparently, the Germans name them when breed warden comes to register them for papers and tatoo them...so they have been dubbed Benji and Bennie. Cute names but not what I want my dog to say. We've let the kids pick some of the other dogs names, Bruzer, Dizzy (both Catahoulas), Corona (APBT) since the day we brought him home that dog has loved that beer, Sampson (husband's ancient mutt dog), Spark Plug (Sparky for short) he's a Rat Terrier and that's it for now. All their names came after the dog was in the house and their personality could be assessed.
