Now I know I am making the right choice. When we go to the vet in the spring titers will be done and with the switch to raw and all the other changes I have made for my dog I know I will come out with a smile rather than having to sell one of my kids to pay for his health care <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> It was mentioned about Dr. Dodd's in a post from November. If I couldn't find a vet that would do the titers that is the route I would have gone but lucky me I found one that only charges $48 for the parvo/distemper yes that is for both. I was very happy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
I know a lot of vets who hold people and their pets hostage by refusing boarding and even treatment, unless the animal is fully vaccinated. I made the decision to stop vaccinating my adult animals after some of them showed with severe allergies. They all eat very healthy diets (as they can with packaged) and live in a clean environment. My 14 yr. old dog hasn't been vaccinated in 2 years and his allergies have showed a marked improvement. I truly believe you can over vaccinate and vets need to stop harming animals in their attempt to make a buck!
