Honestly, she didnt say.. She just said not to feed german shepherds pork because they were soft dogs and couldn't take it due to bloat. Yes, she suggested giving them smoked bones and pig ears.

Take Levi in for a visit to that gal and let her play a nice game of tug. Then ask her what she meant by soft.......
Smoked bones and pig ears.....yikes.

If I recall my raw feeding 101, smoked anything is bad because it is still cooked. So, considering these were bad suggestions in the first place, I assumed (obviously correctly) that the last opinion on not feeding gsd's pork was a bad suggestion also, thus the question, what cuts are best?
Wow! I just might be catching on! And they say there are no miracles in the modern day!?

Feeding anything smoked that has bones in it is BAD. The bones are cooked, therefore you do not want to feed it.
When we smoke our jerky and stuff, we use flavorings and salt, so my dogs do not get any, they get what I dehydrate in the kitchen dehydrator......I like my bison, elk and venison jerky too much to share anyway......they get chicken and beef liver jerky

I'm going to talk to the game processor this week that says he can give me a 55 gallon drum each week of parts from deer, hogs, alligators and maybe some other assorted stuff.
I told him I won't even be able to use a 5 gallon bucket full. Anyone else near by want in on this?
What things should I stay away from?
