Ditto here ... during the summer months (age/weather?) I found that I had to feed the pup EXACTLY 12 hours apart. If he went more than 12 hours from evening meal until morning meal, he would vomit clear/yellowish bile or dry heave.
If that hadn't cleared it up, I was going to go back to 3 meals per day, but that was going to be a really wierd schedule. Luckily going 12 hrs apart worked out.

The clear or slightly yellow liquid may be bile. Starbuck will throw up a small amount of this if there is no food in her belly.
If I hadn't heard and witnessed my dog in the wee early morning hours when it happened, I wouldn't have known, as my dog likes to clean up his vomit. So just because you don't see it, doesn't mean that he hasn't done it and then cleaned it up.

checked him this morning, he didnt have any vomit in his area.
ok. a little more peace of mind here. he seems to be doing ok now...I continued training him using the dry kibble. its funny because I have a cast on my right arm, so while trying to train the "touch" command its a hassle deliveing the treats. LoL, I take my time preparing so when he nails it, the treat is ready to go....

well, he's on Embark now. stool is improving. I was mixing in the kibble with his THK, but I think that might be why his stool is still funny looking... I bought a 10lb bag and feed him 2 cups a day... I hope this doesnt burn a hole in my pocket !! LoL
when switching between THK types, are you still supposed to do it gradual?

Between Embark, Force, and Thrive, I wouldn't think so. I don't care which of the two I buy (Embark and Force) I use when I need to use one. In fact, I like variety in the dogs' diets.
