How diligent is everyone on rating?
I've rated close to 10 people, all of them 5 stars. They probably know who they are. One of them had no stars, and with my rating he got 5 stars, but someone quickly took care of that. Others have had 2 or 3 stars, and with my rating they've either remained with the same number of stars, or improved by 1.
I also rated 'Leerburg' user once to see what would happen. He had like a million stars before (seriously, he had more than 5). I gave him a 1 star rating. Check out how many stars he has now.
I guess I'm pretty diligent.

Why did you give him a 1 star, I'm curious.

Just to see what would happen. He had like 10 stars and I thought my rating wouldn't make any difference. I'm sure if they're really concerned, they just have to click a couple of buttons and get him back to where he was.
This is a bot, not a user, btw.

I remember that thread and it appeared that people were trying to spare you the WOE (Wrath of Ed j/k Ed, don't ban me!) more than anything else.
Thanks, but no thanks. I don't need others to tell me what I can and cannot do. Especially when they are wrong. Why should we all have to walk on eggshells?
If anything is obvious here it's that people think first about dogs and care a lot less about people's feelings getting hurt.
I agree with you. I find that the people here might possibly like dogs more than people!
I sure do!
In this case, though, it was different. If you read through the thread, no one offers any help for the dogs whatsoever.
You should PM Ed or Cindy and ask if the thread can be unlocked. They may not have seen it.
No offense, but I am sure it is too late for those dogs. So, I won't do that.
Sarah, I want to thank you for the PM I recieved the link to the lab forum. Man, I wish I would have thought of forums for labs at the time. It would have been a much better place to post the info.
From now on, I am not going to post in the Rescue section anymore unless it is a GSD or maybe a Mal. If you look at the Category, it is "Rescues by breed." But the only breed listed is GSD, and I believe more people here would be able to help a GSD than any other dog.u`1ld--added by Bella. Down!...

I really do NOT think there was any lack of empathy involved at all. You are right, Rick, that GSD, Mal, etc., rescues fit into this working dog forum better.
The day you made that post, for which you should be commended, I cross-posted to the two Lab rescues I know of. One of them, in NC, suggested that adopt-a-labrador-retriever.com might be better (and might have a closer facility) and said she would email them.
I do a lot of rescue and shelter volunteer work. I've learned that venue is an important consideration when I'm choosing my plan of attack. :>

Very thoughtful, Connie...thank you for that help that you did. I didn't even know it! What a gal! Speaking of volunteer rescue work, I am going to PM you about an idea I have had for awhile, now that I know you are online!
And, Richard Pryor, that is one of the best photos I have seen, and your dog looks awesome! It rivals Jennifer Coulter's rediculously scenic photos!...
