Sometimes I read these posts and I'm flabbergasted at how one thing becomes another.
I was too, Mike, when I saw this thread. I thought "What the heck?
But then I realized that not everyone on the thread knows you from your posts, knows you have an inside dog, knows how you research and ponder every decision made about your dog..... So you are 100% right to let it go. It's the internet. :>

Thanks Sandy,
I would add that both Pups sleep outside the actual kennels during the Summer on the concrete floor of the run,
It will be interesting to see where they sleep in the winter which is just around the corner over here, early dark nights
I really dont understand why have you have such a problem with my comments. You asked for advice and I gave you some. The main point of what I was saying is you might want to look at your ordinances to find out if you have to have one. I dont know your situation, thats why you need to be the one to check them out and if it applies to you then youd know if you legaly are suppose to have a dog house. And by the way I do know how the law works. For one local ordinances are either equal to or more restrictive than the state laws that apply.Your local ordinances are never more leanient. And if you had the actual ordinances it has a definition section at the begining of the chapter for the terms used such as "shelter". If your dog lives inside the house then fine, whatever, I didnt accuse you of anything. Just pointing out some information that may or may not apply to you. But what I said is correct. People enjoy calling in complaints about other people's pets. And if your dog is standing in the rain and does not have "shelter" available as defined by whatever your ordinaces say then the comp has a legit complaint. Thats just how it is. Explaining to an ACO that your dog does not have shelter because it is a house dog while it is standing in the rain could be a hard sale. But I really dont understand why somebody with a house dog is asking wether or not they should have a dog house because thier dog does not go into the crate they put outside when it rains. My house dog doesnt ever seem to have that problem.
Stop making excuses for your dog and start training it!
Hello, I have a two year old GSD and I want to start tracking with him.My question is? Should I start with my scent objects or a scent left by a decoy?
*** MOD NOTE ***
See below for directions on starting your own tracking thread.
Thank you.

I wish that when someone puts in a post a name could be put at the top so we know who the post is intended for, take the post above from David Morris, it looks like he is replying to a post of mine as my name is above, but i know he is not, but it looks that way
If a poster puts just 'Hello Steve' at the heading then we all know who is in for a Rollicking or not
I am not good with computers and it would help me and i cannot be the only one you is a bit thick on computers

If the responding person clicks on "reply" IN THE POST he is responding to, them that will have the correct name in the response.
Or, of course, the responder can start his post with the name of the person he's addressing.

Asking an unrelated question in a thread about doghouses is considered "hijacking" the thread.
