Should be a pretty nice seminar. Nikki is looking forward to harrasing Bernard and to meeting some of her littermates again. I'll even bring my condemned bitework toys as bad examples. ;D
Too bad things couldn't have been scheduled for the end of April. In any case, the club did a pretty full round of training yesterday. Many of the SchH3 dogs in the club have been or will soon be retired. So, we worked a lot of young dogs yesterday. It's fun watching them grow up.
Charlie, you're coming! That's great! It'll be good to see you. I know Lowen will be glad to see Nikki. I still cannot believe how much they just loved each other last summer.
One of the reasons I skipped the one on Columbus (only about 100 miles away) this year was they scheduled for March 14-16. Around here, we ain't quite done with winter yet. In fact, the previous weekend, the Columbus OH area got over 20" of snow. We got 18". It's mostly gone now. The 2-3" of cold rain we are expecting tonight and tomorrow should get rid of the remainder.
I'm just hoping we won't be knee-deep in mud this weekend.
Nikki, on the other hand, doesn't really care. Show her the scratch pants and sleeve and she's ready to rock.

A friend of mine that went to that seminar told me they moved it indoors

Yes....The seminar was moved indoors to a nice, large, heated, rubber matted training facility just on the southern edge of Columbus.
Bernhard put on an EXCELLENT seminar. He trained for over FOURTEEN+ hours straight with only ten minutes for lunch on Saturday. The hosting club got a picture of everyone with Bernhard standing under a wall clock at midnight! I'm sure that will be on HondenSport Ohio's website very soon.
HondenSport Ohio did GREAT organizing the weekend and feeding everyone!
Bernhard lived up to his reputation and more......
Well, this is going to be interesting. They are calling for about 8 inches of snow for the IL/WI border. I guess winter had to get one last kick in the crotch in before letting go. So much for 60 and sunny!
