What with you and Carol and Sarah giving me more laughs than I know what to do with today, Thanksgiving would be oh so much more fun if you could all come over, with your dogs of course, so we can cook, laugh, drink wine, and have the chaotic fun of keeping our dogs separated. Oh, and of course eat turkey.

I've been frisked a lot!
Hope he was good lookin.....
Hah...I should be so lucky. "He" might have been a decent looking guy...except it was a "she".
Have you taken a good look at TSA lately...especially while you're waiting for hours in a line? They get the scariest looking folks (of undetermined gender, I might add) hand 'em latex gloves and a wand, and set them on you.
{{{shudder}}}
I just blew coffee through my nose reading this.....thanks That was funny......yes....I have seen them, although the one that wanted to frisk me was dragging knuckles.....glad "it" didn't have to.......

All joking aside, Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Eat like pigs, make merry, enjoy an extra day with family and friends (and your dogs!), and remember to give thanks for all your blessings...great and small. I hope they are many.
As for Bella and I, we will be camping this Thanksgiving. My friends and I have a tradition called "No Thanks!Day" where we go out and camp for about 4-5 days and fry about 3 turkeys...a ham...and I am going to make some grilled shrimp...yum! This will be the first time Bella goes camping, so I am interested to find out what that will be like! I am glad to be able to spend a few whole days in a row together, and I think she will be too!!
No Thanks Day came from being young and rebellious against the tradition of being with the family who can get annoying, but some recent deaths in the family has me missing the family gatherings! Maybe one day I will integrate the two together...So enjoy your family this year, and when it gets to the point where you are like, "Dang it, uncle Bob just drives me crazy!" remember life doesn't last forever!
Here's to everyone having a happy Thanksgiving with plenty of yummy goodies!!
....over the river and through the wood...er, more like down I-89 with a wagon-full of kid and dogs, and two huge wire-crates strapped to the roof . I love invitations that sound like this: "Would you and your daughter and dogs like to come for dinner and an overnight?" My sister rocks, and so does her GSD. Mmmmm.....turkey....and excellent company, and plenty of dogs. Does it get any better than that? I think I'll wear sweatpants...
