on a simular subject, I left rottweiler.net because a lot of people talk down to each other. its not cuz im being "sensitive", its just that I didnt sign up for that crap. i go there looking for help and all i get is about 10 people telling me what i did wrong. where are the solutions??? dont tell me problems, tell me solutions.
Ed, keep doing what your doing. this is by far THE best site i have been on. I have turned a lot of people here in hawaii on to this site. now if we can just get them to post and of course...ORDER...hehe

Can we lock this? It's clearly not about training.
is it bad this made me LOL?
honestly - i don't spend as much time on other forums b/c this one is so CLEARLY superior in terms of advice, knowledge, and expertise. i like how doggy it is!
and i don't say it enough, but thank you to everyone who has shared their knowledge with me! you guys are amazing! and thanks to ed and everyone at leerburg for creating such an amazing resource! it truly is far above anything else i've found - sure, i don't get to hear about the issues people are having w/their kids girlfriend or something, but i've learnt so much, it's invaluable.
Not a schutzhund person here either. My dogs do AKC style obedience and agility. Still I learn tons of things here that make me go hmmmm and that I can apply to their training. And who knows, maybe some day with the right dog.....
No David, we're all crying over Chaos' loss. Anna only took, she never contributed anything to this forum. It's Chaos' loss because Anna doesn't have a clue and without some help he'll only suffer for it.
reading this site also helps balance everyday life for me...jus by reading, i gain patience. the most important thing in dog training and a virtue i severely lack...hehe

Wait!! I havent had my say yet!! No locking yet!!!
Anna, seems to me that if you had any sense between those ears of yours you would have had the best of both worlds. If you have found another site that you like for "chit chat" you should continue to go there to get your "chit chat", however, when you need real sound advice that is in the best interest of your dog you could still come here. There are other ways to make a point and most of us here are pretty intelligent, GROWN UP, people that can have an open discussion w/you about why this forum is put together the way it is. I feel quite saddened to see you go and even more so for Chaos. Try and find another site that can offer you the accumulated years of experience that this site has to offer, I dare you. Good luck with your endeavors and I'll offer a small prayer for your dog.
