If the smell is getting better, could it be the skin is healing up? The location where you describe her sores are where flea allergy usually shows up. She probably had fleas and chewed herself raw. If you have got rid of all the fleas, she will start to heal and the smell should go away. That is what I think it is. Just my opinion. Also the good food you are giving her will most likely help her heal faster too.
And if she had a just-beginning case of yeast overgrowth, then getting her off a bad grain-based food could have made all the difference.
Today she is doing good.
I am dreading friday heart worm test.
I have a least to more days a dread.
It would kill me for her to test positive.
She is really sponky again and not throwing up or diaria.
She loves yogurt and chicken rice she is ok with.
No heartworms and the picture of health considering.
Got all her fecals back clear and such she is doing great.
She is fixed for sure and about 1 1/2 years old.
I am so happy

She is fixed for sure and about 1 1/2 years old.
I am so happy
Just wanted to add
It was the yeast thing the smell is almost gone
It was a different vet she went to today.
He explained a lot to me that my vet did not.
She will meet my mother in law for the first time this weekend

And I also have phoenix permantly again.
Mother been real sickly nothing major but cant keep phoenix.
But not for a couple more weeeks will she go
FYI Mystic had 8 kittens we are keeping the runt for sure all healthy also
Just a really good update.
The smell is gone from what I have experenced this morning.
She is doing great My mom is excited
And cant wait to meet her
This will be a good match
She is in her late 60's
And needs a small dog that is low drive
she will be on natures variety at her house.
All the time and has a microchip so she wont get lost again.
I am happy if I could help one dog or cat a year I would be happy
But I plan on helping more
We are building kennels in our back yard they break ground next week
So we plan on houseing at least five at a time.
They will be were the pool was.
Everyone pray for me that this works out.
It is my lifes dream to help animals.
Ok this is really good news.
She loved my mom and my neice.
She was attatched at my neices hip all weekend.
When she wanted to sleep she was in my moms lap.
She did not even care we were there.
We only saw her once or twice for 2 whole days.
when we were packing her up to leave she cried the whole time.
So she ended up staying I will go out there every few day to check on her progress.
But I think she found home
