I just posted what i thought to be a "cool" youtube video of a friend.
Pardon me for being slightly defensive.....

And it was cool; I wish more folks would post videos. It really is a useful tool for someone like me, who is not working w/ a trainer and has no training experience(just to see someone else handling a dog and to see how the dog is responding to the handler is useful) And it helps to have the experienced members point out what they see...
We look forward to more of your vids and I'll be posting some of mine as I make them. Vids are a great training aid, you can't beat "This is what I did and this is what it looks like"

I agree 100%!
You can't beat them! And if we post them, we are acknowledging that they will be dissected, and that not only will we learn, but everyone else will.
I guess its a matter of tact, If a novice hobbiest trainer were to post something and they ask for advice then yea, play nice. When a professional trainer post then he can expect pointed questions and novices grilling him/her on "how'd ya get your dogs to do that?" and such. I even gave the trainers of "Skid Mark" or was it "Skid Boot" the Blue Heeler a hard time. Especially when they tried to play it off as "Super Dog" when in reality it was "Super Showmanship".
Along with that goes the old saw of "The only thing two dog trainers can agree on is the third one isn't doing it right."
