Can I ask a dumb question? How do you give guns as presents? Everyone already has a permit? Or do you not need permits for rifles?
In Pennsylvania you merely pass the background check to buy a hand gun. There is no license required to own it or to carry it openly. You can gift it to a spouse, child or parent with no paperwork or transfer. You need a license to conceal it or to have it in a ready state in your car.
"The problem, as I see it, with all kinds of folks go'n out and buy'n a bunch of firepower is that most of those folks don't have a clue about how to use the thing, and that makes them dangerous and not in a positive way."
Actually, considering the number of guns in this country, accidental injuries and deaths are rare.
But I'd be willing to bet that the gun training schools will be on the "hit list" of the upcoming anti-gun administration, so I'd suggest everyone attend them while you still can.

This was my favorite course that I took! Unbeleivable information and FUN! Can not say enough about this school. (My Rob was an instructor there for five years!!!)
You learn how to be comfortable and very safe while handling your gun. If you ever get an oppertunity to go to one of these gun schools, or you are a little unsure about handling you gun, PAY THE MONEY AND GO!

But think of the sweet deals we`ll be able to get in a couple years when all the yuppies decide to sell this stuff that`s been just sitting in their closet.
The only thing needed for evil to exist is for good men to stand by and do nothing!!!
