Thanks to this thread I feel ready and prepared.
I talked to the vet monday morning and she will have a heart monitor on during the entire procedure as well as IV support as necessary.
He also has a bite not collar that he thinks will fit her, if not the cones are clear so she will be able to see a bit better than the frosted ones.
She had a nice big lunch since she won't be eating dinner and a nice long off leash play at the park this morning.
She had a blast seeing the little kids (she was on leash for that) and splashing around in the creek, even though it was COLD!
She even got to sleep in the bed with me last night.
Im going to give her a bath tonight.
I have all of her food ready to go, boiled chicken, rice, canned pumpkin, pureed green beans and a kong that can be filled with yogurt once she is feeling better. All my mom has to do is take a scoop out of each container to feed her. I wrote the amounts on the side of each container to make it easy.
Her new bed is washed and ready to go too, as well as her teddy bear, she has had the darn bear for almost 4 years..and just loves it. She uses it as a pillow.
I'm nervous as hell, but I just keep telling myself she will be fine, and actually I think I am more nervous about what the pathology reports will say once they send a sample of the growth away.
