Teddee will find things to roll on. He likes smelly things like manhole covers. He likes piles of fresh cut grass. He especially likes finding paint used on soccer fields and loves to flop over and roll on that.
As noted in another post today, Flash likes to dig at the carpet before laying down to sleep.
Teddee also likes to lick lotion. It doesn't matter what kind, hand, sunscreen he likes it all. Another thing I noticed is he always finds a hill to poop on and is always facing the down slope to poop. Maybe he likes to rest his tail on the ground when going lol.
And how can I forget...Ted loves to sit on the couch like a person. Butt on the couch and everything else off.
Ted also likes to pick up water bowls, especially after I just filled them and dump them out. When I used to take him to the dog park(I shouldve known better) he would pick up water bowls that people brought dump them and run around so proud of his accomplishments. People would laugh, I would be frustrated chasing him around the park lol.
Ted likes to lay in the bath tub and will actually get in when he is thirsty and wait for me to turn the water on (maybe because he just dumped the bowl of water out).
He also likes to jump on a freshly made bed.
As you can guess, Ted has quite the personality.
Finally (for now), he likes to sit in the front seat of the car and looks like a redhead lol.

Ah, water bowls, that reminds me.
Danke likes to stand in water.
She will stand with her two front paws together if it's a small bowl.
A large bowl, or tub, she'll stand completely in.
She also likes to dip her toes into her water bowl... you know, like a finger dish.
Such a prissy dog.

Yote does the same thing with his water bowl. Now I use a 5 gallon bucket in the house for them to drink out of, he can't spill or get in that!

Kota is a very dignified dog, so he doesn't have too many funny quirks. He has picked up on barking at the ball. This is a dog who will bark at strangers approaching our house, or when herding and NO OTHER time. This winter he picked up barking at the ball. I kick the ball and when it flies past him just out of reach he lets out a nasty bark and chases it.
Sometimes I wake up and find him rolling around on his back scratching his snout on the floor. That is VERY cute, but I think most dogs do this.
My old roommate had a lab who would chase the tinkerbells from metal objects. He would go crazy when we did dishes before sunset.

Murphy generally tends to be in the "dignified" camp, but still not immune to weirdness. He walks backward when he poops, always has, since he was a little puppy.
I always close the door when I'm in the bathroom, but when I come out, Murphy is sitting straight and alert with his back to the bathroom door (touching it) like he is on sentry duty. He LOVES (?!) baths and will happily get into the tub whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Murphy loves to spin: He has "excited spin" when he sees friends or something to chase and "sleepy spin" when he's half asleep but trying to find a more comfy position. Lately he's started doing a "hand-touchy spin" when he jump high to touch my hand. He looks like a moose doing ballet...it's so silly.
When he is barking and I shush him, he does a whispered bark (unless I actually say "quiet", then he stops). His sire does exactly the same thing.
If he's sleeping in the sun, he covers his eyes with his paws...it's adorable. He also grunts and snores a lot when he sleeps, in fact he makes more noise in his sleep than when he is awake.

in the mornings, Capone will try to "roll" me out of bed. he'll take his snout, shove it under my ribs, and start rolling(and snorting).
Tripper walks when he pees....almost like hes trying to spell his name or something....
Bart swallows after every 3rd lap when he drinks, roxie after every 2...its neat to hear them drink together...hemiola.
tripper will walk PERFECTLY with his retractable leash(it only goes out 8 ft, for really small dogs), right at my side, watching me...
i put him on a normal leash-he runs in circles around me...
Bart looks at his butt when he farts...

I guess all I can say is that I'm glad this thread is in "non-dog," because it's so not the kind of dog thread encouraged here.
But I guess a "lounge" of "almost anything goes" (a pretty new thing here, this chat area) is different.

Oscar dreams out loud. If you've ever heard a zebra call, on a nature show or something, it can sound a lot like that, but sometimes he howls and yammers on like there is something REALLY exciting going on in his dreams. I can hear in throughout the apartment, no matter where he's sleeping. Sometimes, if he starts plaintively whining for long periods, I'll wake him up - it's fine if he's yipping after a rabbit or a squirrel, but I hate to think he might also dream about being injured or in pain.
Oscar also must know what's going on when either one of us goes into the bathroom. He usually just wants to poke his head in (so we've taken to not latching the door when we go in), but he wants to keep an eye on us.
And when it's dinnertime (he knows EXACTLY when 8pm rolls around) he'll come into the kitchen if we're in there and he'll sit down a few feet away with his back to us, like he wants his presence known as a reminder, you know, just as a reminder... lest we EVER forget.

Lol.. Brandi does the exact same thing. 8 pm, you have a Boxer staring at you. I swear, she can beat a picture in a staring contest at that time.
