Wow, just goes to show how backwards the USA is. Even your BSL (while still BS in my opinion) makes more sense than ours. Ours tend to go overboard in lumping all dogs w/short hair and a pointy tail into the Pit Bull category.
I wouldn't say Australia is particularly forward thinking. BSL was introduced as a result of an incident involving a BULL TERRIER!!! Our laws are based on the system in the UK which I believe may have been thrown out? Hopefully we'll follow suit. The bite stats haven't improved since BSL came into effect. It's obviously the owners and not the dogs.
Ditto. Great pics, Ruth. Simon won't pose either. Any decent shots I have of him were taken far away w/a zoom lens. He literally leaves when he sees me w/a camera. That's why he looks so miserable in a lot of shots. He HATES the camera.
