Oh I don't know. they go out when they ring the bell, I don't stand over them. They have free time.
Chicken soup for dogs, that would surely give them the runs?
Chicken Soup is actually the brand name, the have a puppy, senior, adult and maybe a weight management line. It is not grain free but it is high quality proteins and doesn't have corn or other fillers that are bad for dogs.
I would watch both of them while going potty to see which one has the poop problems. Otherwise it will be hard to know how serious the problem is and if you need to take steps to get them treated by the vet or do a bland diet at home to sooth their stomach.
We can give you instructions for a simple TEMPORARY diet to help stop the runs and maybe help transition to a new food.
You have to use photobucket or something similar, it is free to use and you can store your pictures on it. Then once your picture is uploaded to photobucket there is an option to share.
You want to find the one that says IMG in the file code.
Right now two of my dogs are on Eagle Pack with occasional raw. The third is eating Nature's Variety Instinct (grain free) or raw.
Before the current bags of food they were eating Diamond Naturals and Taste of the Wild. They all get at least some raw in their diet. I like giving them fresh, real food and it really helps keep their teeth clean.
Different dogs respond differently to foods - you need to find one that works for your dogs. My oldest dog has allergy issues and a grain free diet keeps her allergies in check. My other two don't seem to have issues with a bit of grain so, as I'm a college student on a budget, they get a lower cost kibble that also contains grain.
When choosing a kibble it is best to choose one with a named meat meal(ie, chicken or beef meal as opposed to meat) as the first ingredient and preferably 3 meat ingredients in the first 5 ingredients. Often you don't need to feed as much volume when you use a higher quality food as your dog can digest it better.
I use to have this problem with my lab. I now give him Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach formula and it fixed that problem. Just make sure to transition the food slowly. It is about $40 for a 37 pound bag and you feed less of it. It has no corn and salmon is the first ingredient.
