The UScA should stop claiming to represent German Shepherds and claim to be what it is .. An all breed schutzhund training organization !! If you are committed to German Shepherds then all German Shepherds makes sense!! If you are committed to schutzhund then all breeds makes sense. Can't be both!!
The UScA IS a GSD club that is TOLERANT of other breeds and ALLOWS them to trial. But they are, first and foremost, a GSD club. What is the problem?
I am committed to the German Shepherd breed and not just to Schutzhund as a sport. I admire the qualities of other breeds and their ability to do dog sports. When an organization goes all breed it gives up the right to claim stewardship of any one breed especially when other organizations exist that are totally dedicated to that breed. The UScA has no more right to claim stewardship of the German Shepherd than it does the Malinois or the Rottweiler.
I don't see how you are committed to the German Shepherd Dog as a breed, Charles. I REALLY don't.
I do see that you are against an organization - namely UScA - and with the point you are trying to make also disrespecting other similar organizations such as USRC (US Rottweiler Club) that operates similarly.
I'm sure GSDCA-WDA will be happy to have you as a member.
Good luck to you.
New UScA logo " For the German Shepherd Dog and anything else that can do schutzhund " .. I am just tired of the pompous BS from the UScA about competing organizations when UScA is just like the all breed DVG but with a bad attitude. The leadership of UScA should stop spending time on their vendetta against "competing"
