Butcher stores, and sometimes grocery stores.
You usually have to ask, they don't display them in the meat case.

If you ask at the grocery store the butcher can usually order you a case. They don't stock it usually as a cut because no one wants it except for making soup stock.

Don't know where you live, but here I can't get them in the grocery store even if I ask. I have to go to places where they butcher their own chicken (and there aren't many of those places left!). I go to Whole Foods - they cut chickens every day and will even save me up a few days worth if I call ahead of time. They do put them in the meat case there too. The grocery stores where I've been, even in different states, don't cut their own chickens anymore, they just sell a pre-packaged brand like Tyson or Foster Farms.
So look for international markets, Bristol Farms, Whole Foods, places like that that have actual butchers.

We only have one real butcher here on the Cape and I went there the other day looking for unprocessed lard (for us, not the dogs) and he said he did not carry it and could not get it. I also tried to get cow tongue in the grocery store and they could not get it. Next time I go to Boston I will call Whole Foods- thanks for the idea.

Okay, sorry, but I'm going back to the kibble/raw thing....
Right now I'm feeding 1/4c THK, 1/4c Origen, and 1/2c meat/organ mix + 1 multi vit, 1/2 C, 2 E's, and 2 Glucosamines (vitamins once per day).
I haven't had a problem with indigestion or sickness. Does hydrating the kibble change the equation?
Reasoning - We do fair amount of outdoor activities, mainly going to our cabin/camping/backpacking/hiking excursions. I don't want to pack raw for the trips, but I don't want to shock her system with kibble only on vacations. (Cuz that would suck if she had diarrhea while in my mom's 'cabin').

I don't recommend mixing the kibble in there. Indigestion isn't the issue; the issue is the one time that the raw meat has a big pathogen load and the fact that the kibble is slowing down its progress through the body. That's the time it's going to matter, as it mattered to Aaron's dog (and others) who became violently ill when a batch of chicken that if a person ate some raw would make the person very ill from the amount of bacteria in it but a healthy dog who was not on a mixture of kibble would most likely scoot it on through so fast that the pathogens could not set up shop and reproduce.
How about THK and RMBs? Then when you're at the cabin, THK with some of the cooked meat (no cooked bones, of course) of the same type (like chicken) that the humans are eating, or with some canned dog food that you have pre-trialed and that you occasionally add in at home? Or if you have no refrigeration, then just the THK and some canned? That way the food that you are feeding at the cabin is still something the dog is accustomed to.
THK and kibble are fine, but that's not something you can adjust the dog to at home because you are giving raw, too. I'd want the cabin food to be something I could also give at home with the raw every now and then so there was no big switch thing to deal with on vacation.

I feed the turkey based formula a couple times a week just for the variety. I give it with the little chicken carcasses I feed.
Can you give a dog chicken bones? I have always herd beef bones were ok but never chicken or fish. true or false?

False.
Chicken bones are only harmful when cooked.
