Off topic: A question is a question deserving of a reply regardless of personal judgment of their knowledge or experience.
Off topic vol. 2: I did not say that anyone's questions should go unanswered. Simply that the subject and tenor of a poster's questions make obvious distinctions between their levels of experience. And someone who's asking questions like Dan's, or like mine, should have enough humility to recognize that they are simply asking for more problems by adding another pup to the mix when their first one is FAR from sorted out.

Ross, you are absolutely right, But I come here because I want to, plus good people should stick together, as Mr. Frawley always says (more or less) " I could find an opinion from any and everybody " I have a good club, plus in the sport, I have met really good people, and breeders, I read to learn what I might need to try for my pack, Right now they are relaxing separately, under my supervision. So wow, I am counting our blessings. Dan

Wow dude. Really?
Best of luck, but my general feeling is that if you're still at the point where you need to come in here and ask questions, you're not ready to handle a multi-dog (especially multi-pup) household.
Can't say I agree with this statement... There are some questions which will only pertain to having two dogs in the house and which would never have arisen by owning just one dog. Even the most experienced owner of one dog is going to face new challenges when adding a second dog and would not be considered foolish for posting guestions about that new scenario. Jmho.

Thank you for replying, my apologies for not asking for clarification before assuming.

Connie, We all have questions, and we all do it differently. But what I notice is that the added pressure makes me more diligent, and constant. not for a while, but for the way I have to live. There is no party for me, there is no going out of my comfort zone TMI. My wife, my dogs, my dogs, my wife and me. That's the answer. Plus, I will do my dogs as I did my soldiers. The right thing. Dan

Aimee, most question deserve an answer, and If I did not answer any, it is because it has not risen as yet. The complete answer in me, is my way of life. I had just gave the order in which I live in a prior post. Dan

Aimee, thanks once again for the opportunity just to say we will be A OK. not stubborn, well maybe a tiny bit, but more in tune to my needs, not in a selfish way, just facts.
I do also have a wife, grown kids, and grands, who I put on my shoulders, (they are not as weak as it may appear). About my obligations including my dogs. As Ross said " nature has done you many favors in life." there is more to that post. and I will repay nature if that is the WORD.(Jhn:1:1) With all the experiences it has taught me. I will not shy away from being the leader of my pack, included any stubborn one.
As Barbara as said, these dogs will not be in a kennel lock up, there needs will be taken care of, Loved, physical, medical plus a reason to exist. Not abuse, but walking with me, tail wagging, (I look), at whatever speed and length I can do. if not I have my Escalade, (motorize scooter) we can slow down an enjoy life. This should be my last word to defend and try for all to understand this post, My Life. Dan

If only every dog could be so lucky, Dan.
Go for it and enjoy. You only live once, and it sure sounds like you have the time and determination to succeed with this. I recently passed up a pup I was very interested in because it would be hard to give him enough attention while working full time, and my two dogs need all the extra free time I have right now.
Beautiful shepherds, by the way.
