For my IG, I take the arm off an XL sweatshirt sleeve and cut long slits in the bottom for her front legs. The cuff of the sleeve is her turtle neck. I have it long over her back, it covers part of her tail. These launder great, and we seem to have an endless supply of ratty old sweatshirts.
What a wonderful idea Betty! And SOO inexpensive! I wonder what size Koenig would need. lol.
If the ruff wear boots you are going to send don't work I may be all over that idea...
I am going to have to do something, and with those huge double dewclaws in back.......I don't know how or what....but those ice melt pellets go up to 175 degrees when they melt.
Eddie will have high exposure going into stores and church and public places.....ugggh.
Just look in my sig pix...at his rear left leg near the wheel...see that big white thing sticking out at almost a right angle?......that is the double dewclaw....sigh.
Tim, that is quite a site!!!!!
For someone who used to sew and make dog and horse gear its a dream!!!!
Do their whole line of booties fasten low?
Are they really $2.50 each??!!
In your opinion how will they perform while Eddie is pulling the wheel chair?
will his paw slip about in the bootie?
It would seem they would do fine as they are for sled dogs, but what do you think?
Thanks for the site!!!!!!!!
Sadly, my wife has taken it upon herself to dress him in a "fashionable" manner, which apparently consists of dressing him up in little costumes that make him look like a gay sailor........
The poor dog is going to end up with self-esteem problems.....

- The max boot height of Sm, Med, or Lg is 5 1/2" so these sizes can all potentially below the dewclaw. The XLg size is 7" tall, but on a giant dog it too might end up being below the dewclaw.
- Yes, $2.50 each
- IMO, they will perform well when dog is pulling
- The booties are somewhat of a baggie fit but I believe this is intentional to prevent injury to the paw due to chafing or pressure points, and to allow the bootie to flex and conform to the the shape of the paw as it spreads under load.
Heres a few pics. The girl dogs go crazy over those Bay Watch orange boots!!!
Eddie has a 3 inch paw or a 3.25 inch paw depending on what he is doing with his foot.
Those are interesting.....it looks like I could just sew a new seam if they are too long/tall.
Hmmmmmm
Those would also be really easy to take on and off.
At that price they are totally worth trying.....
Thanks again!!!!!!!!
