You want to be sure that someone claiming to be her owner can prove that it is their dog. There are people out there who would just see this as a way to get a free puppy and with maybe-not-so-good intentions for it. If the owner is truly looking for a lost dog, they don't need a full description. They'll respond to anything that might possibly be their dog. Of course, if you've lost a dog and are putting up flyers, make the description as complete as possible.

We have an English Pointer... (she's a rescue, but we're 100% positive she's purebred. Did a DNA test just because I had a gift cert for a free one) It came back that she was Pointer, Greyhound, Foxhound, and Bull Terrier. Fantastic- they are ALL contributors to the breed.... LOL. Same as you did Tiffany, we got a great laugh out of it!!

The fylers are going up today and I'm thinking just placing "found dog" and a phone number to see if anyone calls and they can give their own description...does that sound like a good idea?
