This is sad that this law has not passed yet! They have tried over and over. December of 2010 they told us (I am going to school in Ohio a vet tech school)(stauzenberger college) to email and get this law passed (sadly it did not) (I think it died in the house at the end of December). Hopefully it will pass this round!
I just made a couple postcards like the video suggests, it was a fun project for such an important cause.
I hope everyone can take the time to do this, just a few minutes of your time.
Let's help get Nitro's law passed this time!
I am more than happy to do anything I can do.
I agree with Connie, that the physical paper from
people, collectively, can make the world of difference.
In addition, taking the time to contact the necessary representatives too.
There are some things in this world worth fighting for, this one certainly is.
If we don't participate, nothing changes.

I added my cards to the phone calls: Printed out a pic of each dog on heavy paper, cut them out to be about postcard size, and then wrote the words and the sigs, to mail tomorrow.

And then I thanked goodness that the dogs I printed pics of are fine, and that I can help some other dog sometime by getting these people behind bars.

Just posted on Facebook, my dog club's website, and a knitting site. I'll make my cards tomorrow. Thank you for bringing this to our attention again.

Thank you for getting others to do it. Real phone calls and real pieces of mail do get attention, IMHO.
