Too bad, it would have been a good opprotunity to make some connections. I wanted to make that one as well.
Try contacting the host club, maybe they can help you find someone in your area.
About the sleeve you asked after.
Don't know about how old you'd want to take the dog on it, (lol) probably depends on how much punishment you'll willing to take.
If the dog is already on the arm, I'd think about introducing him to the leg myself.

I used my old jeans pants cut it around 12 or 15", rolled it and tug with dogs. I think it's the strongest tug toy for my dogs but this week I ordered jute roll and let see how strong it is.

The Jute is pretty strong as a few people said its downfall is the wet/dry wet/dry makes it brittle, But I wonder if washing it regularly would remedy that I had the tug tho not the roll.
I put tugs of whatever material in the same category as balls, treats, frisbees, chew toys, soccer and old basket balls and used water or milk containers........disposable.
One would like them to last longer but so too I'd like a 30# bag of Orijen to last longer, alas though they all go away sooner or later.
Shrug, it's what it takes ya know.

I agree randy and after seeing some much lower quality tugs ruined in minutes I guess if i get a few months out of LB stuff thats pretty good, and with more variaty like you said it would have lasted much longer.
Also, yeah what is it about the empty gallon water bottles, you can buy the most expensive tug or toy and they will still play with the recycling lol.
