As far as packs go I love this Remington, It's made for bird dogs but I use the buoy holders for balls, toys, tugs, etc. It has a ton of pockets to organize all your stuff. Here are some pics. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af160/brentpetersen/087.jpg
Ohhhh.... pockets would be NICE... I currently have all my dog 'stuff' that I use a lot in a big ol' woven bag. (like 1 1/2' x 1 1/2') Nice and deep, but I tend to loose fursavers, and small things like tracking articles. Then I've got to dump everything, and start over.
I usually am too... but I really like this bag! It's tough, weather resistant, cute, and fits everything so nicely. I've stared clipping my tabs/collars/things with straps to the handle. It helps... a little.
This does not include the stuff we need all the time, which is always by the back door hanging/stacked neatly
(if you can believe that after seeing my training bag. )
-Fursaver
-Orbee on a rope (I've got several... lol)
-Jute tug
-ChuckIt/lacrosse ball
-Bait bag in the fridge
-12' tab, 8' & 15' lead
-Poop bags
- The newest addition to my doggy collection, Dogtra 7100H! (sooo excited, let the down stays commence!)
The rest gets tossed/clipped into that bag. Good luck finding the tracking articles.
No pockets! I could never work like that I'm to anal everything has to have it's proper pocket
Are the pockets labeled as to contents? Or is there a diagram to refer to?
PS
I'm the same way. Dog gear is lined up on specific hooks by the door, with the baggy for the bait bag all stocked in the fridge. LOL
Labels what a great idea! lol I'm like Rainman when it comes to my bag, collars can't be touching grooming equipment and tugs go on one side of the bag balls and dumbells on the other.

I ordered a jacket, a couple of vests, and a hat from the Duluth Trading Company. I am gearing up for 45 min. to 1 hour walks three - four times a day, so I like to have clothes that feel good. We have damp cold here - except when it isn't. I love having clothes that shed dog hair.
I've added an unused treat pouch to my bait bag belt for poo bags and picked up poos. And I've deputized Jethro to carry toys and his training leash in his pack. It turns out I can clip the handle of his long line training leash to his pack when he is finished playing and having some down time on the field (Skipper needs longer to run out his energy chasing a ball). The bag draggin is my early warning system that distraction training is needed on the field.
