Agreed, although the theme song has changed enough to rub me the wrong way every time I hear it.
I'm still rather undecided as to my feelings about the 11th Doctor.
I liked the 9th Dr. too, but from the first episode with David Tennant, I liked his quirky self...and he wore chucks...so...
Number 11 just doesn't do it for me but I'm trying to keep an open mind. I do however kind of like the redhead.
My kids are catching up on all the old ones via netflix and there is a lot of debate on what the the fav seasons/Drs. are. The poor things...geeks justlike their Mom.
Considering the age of the show, I'm quite impressed that it hasn't changed more, but I agree with you on the theme song. It's not as bad as sparkly vampires though...hehe.
I've always wondered what ever happened to the Dr's daughter from few season's back. It's a loose thread and they always seem to pick those up. Is she now River Song?

B5 imo was the precursor to bringing back the long storylines which Battlestar Gallactica championed in sci fi tv. It was brave writing and I appreciate it.
I liked Battlestar Gallactica, too. I'm dating myself, I know, but I'm referring to the original series, with Lorne Green. I'm afraid you guys might be talking about the remake .
I will always miss the brilliance of the acting, writing and direction of Babylon 5. The character development over the five-year arc was astonishing. G'Kar's transformation was my favorite.
And that Vorlon ship! Mysterious, beautiful and frightening all at the same time!
In my case I was referring to the original Battlestar Gallactica TV series that came out in 78, right after Star Wars.
B5's Alfred Bester, the ruthless Psi Cop played to perfection by Walter Koenig (Chekov from the orig Trek). That was a real treat.
Oh, thank goodness, someone else is old enough to remember the original BG.
Yes, Walter Koenig was so sinister as Bester! Nothing like the sweet, likable Chekov. And how about Bill Mumy from Lost In Space as Lennier, Delenn's Minbari acolyte?
