For what its worth, on the other forum you had two folks giving you grief and several others who were pretty supportive and trying to be pleasant.
Leerburg IS a great forum and in my opinion, far more civilized and willing to help those who want to learn . However, if you think you are going to love everyone and everyone is going to love you, you'll be disappointed again. (I doubt you get along perfectly with every single person at work, school, in your own family, etc...)
Some folks ARE going to strongly disagree with your breeding this particular bitch for the reasons you chose, but as Aaron said, you can either "put on your big boy panties" and deal with it and learn, or you can take it all personally and end up leaving us too.
We tend to defend what is best for the dog prior to being concerned with the human's emotions. Normally, it is not intended to be mean, especially when someone shows they have an open mind and honestly want to learn and do what is best for their dog. However, sometimes comments will be pretty blunt and will sting a bit. Those who come here to be told only what they want to hear, generally don't stick around too long.
I think you seem like a nice guy who loves his dog and who can learn a lot from sticking around. I know I've learned a lot over the past two years, and continue to do so. Many of my previously held opinions have changed dramatically after listening to many of the very knowledgable folks on this site. The more you open your mind to the possibility of doing things incorrectly and are open to learning from some of the best, the more you will benefit from being on this forum.
And Josh, it is "conformation" not "confirmation".
To concur with a sentence with Leerburg in it, it must be emphasized that the training, information, dialoge, as presented by the webmaster, or owner, Ed Frawley is the epitome of dog training, dog understanding, & dog relationship.
Albeit, there are Awesome mods, the context of Leerburg, is Ed Frawley.
