I recall stepping in between Van Camp and Brennan during a...errrr....."discussion". It was right after 911 and they both actually apologized.
I blew them a few xo,xo,xo as an attempted bit of humor and my stars went from 5 to 3 almost immediately.
The weak didn't survive there!
I had a number of PMs with VC and actually really like the guy!

Just to put all this into context (and to point out levels and levels of "outspokenness"), I do believe it was Mr. Van Camp who coined the term "Nasty-Gram" (meaning an irritated PM from Ed).

I don't understand how these people can be so ungrateful I am so grateful the day I stumbled on this site. Without this I would have a maniac pup on my hands. Wait I still do!

Or you can go to your local 'canine behaviorist' and get your mind blown full of stupid ideas that won't work.

This forum is FREE, with advice that many people (myself included) would be willing to pay for. Training, nutrition, health, it's all here. Experts who've got decades of PPD training experience, K-9, military working dog, top sport dog people, breeders who consistently produce top dog within the breed, people who've devoted countless hours to learning anything any everything possible about nutrition, retired vets, vet techs, groomers, ... it's all here. I could spend days soaking up information on this forum, and I think I'm a more 'informed' dog owner then most.

It's free. Take it or leave it. Don't call us names though. Just move on your merry little way, and we'll cry over your dog who will be PTS for getting bloat, parvo, impaction, or simply re-homed a million times for a lack of training and exercise. It's the dogs that matter. That is why we anal folks are here.
