He could be full Shepherd but he could also be part lab as he looks alot like my Lab/shepherd mix, Hobbes. Only Hobbes has lab ears on a shepherd face. Beautiful Boy though and goood luck!
Kelly, to be honest, I thought of you and your Faith when I saw him, even though he is safe for now in a no-kill. Your experience lives on in everyone on this board.
I hit a little bump in our plan. Diablo was moved up on the schedule to be neutered tomorrow instead of when he finds his new home. Apparently there has been a lot of people wanting to get him and breed him, so they won't let him leave unaltered. I won't be able to see him until closing time tomorrow night, and I'm not even sure if he'll act like himself with being sedated earlier (which makes me worry that your average family may take interest in the sedated version. The day he would be available for pick up (Monday) I will be out of town for a couple days Grr! This is not looking good for us unless DH really decides to step up to the plate. Let the brainstorming ensue...
Thanks for the luck and comments guys. Husband is ON BOARD!!!! I was going to ease into the conversation until the 3 year old came running in the kitchen and said "Did you ask Dad about the dog on your computer yet? Can we get him dad pweeeeese?" So much for tact After an hour long heated discussion on why another dog would be beneficial, he relented when I asked him why getting a 30th gun is beneficial Hehe!
Hoping Diablo loves us tomorrow as much as we already love him. Vigerously studying introductions and NILF over the next couple days. I know I need to get this right from the beginning with this guy.
He's all mine! I will get him Monday He passed the screeching kid test among with a million others I subjected the poor guy to today. Will post a pic later
