At rest stop....enjoying hamburger and resting for night

Ryuk and Gambit fast asleep after their night walk and break.
Gambit's doing great, he's a very fun and curious pup, this uh "interesting" rest stop is very well lit and is surprisingly pet friendly, he and Ryuk got to hang out oh the little patio area outside the hamburger joint, his "place" command is quite impressive, both dogs napped and waited under the table while I ate....good boys

Yep, remember his release commands
We ended up hanging around the uh "alternative" rest stop until about 7am hanging out with a guy about as amused as I was about the whole thing.
GPS says about 7 hours left, figured I'd do one more long stop once we're through PA and the fast food places stop serving breakfast food (yuck).
Both Gambit and Ryuk are WIDE awake at the moment. I made another petco run last night when I knew that the highway was going to be blocked up for a while so they've got bully sticks, overall we're going well.
Your calls are welcome as while I'm not sleepy this is a long boring road with no one on it lol

I caved and did the whole "pictures with Santa" thing....
"Santa" was thankfully very understanding as it took a few tries....out takes included....
Pictures with Gambit paws in Santa's eyes, pictures with Ryuk making off with Santa's beard, pictures with both of Ryuk's ears in Gambit's mouth, pictures with both dogs being boys licking themselves....we finally got one picture that got both dog in the picture, Ryuk doing his model poses (seriously, the camera loves Ryuk), and Gambit doing his best impression of a furry landshark in stealth mode....
