Thanks to Tanya and Bryan's help, I feel like I've made a good decision too. Now the waiting, like an expectant kid at Christmas.
It's got to come up and right across the country for me and hop a continent for you. It may be Christmas before we see them.
Unlike Tanya and Bryan, already sporting the new technology. Ahhh... but we'll be entering the Einstein echelon soon too.
It's actually the light that's got me really excited. Having to rig them all up now, with illumination devices on top of the control collars, hoping the battery will make one more go in this one and which collar is that sticky thing on if this one doesn't last and have we got a pocket full of glow worms just in case.
And just one transmitter to carry. I use the lanyards around my neck now and although they're fairly light, you know they're there.
I went with the ET500, my dogs are pretty low drive and energy so it should do the job I think. The two dog system I think will be very handy, I'm so excited I can't wait paid extra on shipping just to get it earlier UPS can usually get it here in about 4-5 working days!! Watching the video on demand now!!

haha - much to the dismay of our dogs we can't wait to shock them! lol
Hopefully both you and CJ will have the same opinion that we do. I didn't think I would feel there was a difference in ecollars. A shock is a shock...but Enzo's response is definitely different. And there is such a difference in the size of the receiver from the DOGTRA, that I don't feel like he's collar wise anymore. The light feature is nice. But be aware if your dog is far away from you, it's not a beacon light. For maximum sight you need to make sure it's tightened on the back of their neck and not by their throat or it becomes a light to light the dogs path.
I find the light to work well generally but agree that it's primarily lighting the ground beneath my pups head and her chest. As she's running around the yard at 3am looking for the perfect potty spot I can't see her at all, then I hit the light button and she's instantly visible. I'd wonder if it was as visible if it shone directly up in the air since my eye keys on the patch of illuminated ground and illuminated doggie chest.
The only issue I've had is that she has a bit of loose neck skin and if I don't put the collar on in a certain position her neck skin can cover the light lens. It's still my absolute favorite feature of the unit and the light is at least as effective as any of the other collar mounted lights I've tried.
I suppose I should snap some photos tonight and post those up.... would be worth 1,000 words I suspect

Can't wait to hear others opinions!
Poor puppy's lol!! The main reason I went with the Einstein was because of your descriptions of Enzos reaction as compared to the other one! This is my first go with an Ecollar as they were banned in the other states I lived but are legal here in W.A, also they're 1/3 to 1/2 the cost to import than buy here.
BTW not sure what happened to the previous post, I can't seem to delete it and it won't show anything i wrote?
So I tried grabbing some video and photos with my iPhone last night and can't produce what I feel is an accurate representation of the light output. I'll give it another go with my real camera sometime soon....
