It was brought into our home against my wishes so there's some hard feelings but I don't wish for her to suffer. I'm just giving my wife the info. and whatever she decides to do with it is her choice.

I don't mean that it caused the initial problem .... just that repeated yeast infections and Pred commonly go hand in hand. It's a tightrope, using Pred and balancing benefit against detriment and doing everything else possible to get Pred use to its lowest and least frequent possible level.
