I decided to teach Tanner, Boxer dog, a finish from front. EDIT: I thought about it a little more and decided that a finish will need to wait until he knows a formal heel. I don't want him getting "stuck" in the position. We will be doing a basic shaped retrieve instead. Tanner knows marker language and the clicker but I still mix methods so this will probably be the first pure marker taught behavior.
Cloud, the parakeet, will hopefully learn to target a stick. She is completely new to markers and still somewhat intimidated by my hand. I'm hoping that markers will open communication between us and she will realize I'm not so scary. I also want to be able to take her in and out of her cage. I currently have to try and bribe her with millet or use a towel.
Reduced rations of seed means just the seed is reduced. She has free-choice pellets at all times. I realize that came out all wrong and promise I'm not starving my animal.
I hope I signed up, though I'm not sure I did.
Am hoping to have Pinker find a certain deaf/blind sheep.
Will do this anyway, if I missed the "contest", that's OK! Will enjoy watching others!

Some PMs and emails from various folks pointed out that several people not signed in on this thread most likely believed that they had signed up in the other thread. They clearly stated that they were in and what they would do.
Betty is one, and also, I believe, Milanka, Tresa, Amy, Cathy, Debbie, Kristin Mortensen, and Kristin Muntz.
Of course, this sounds OK to me. This new thread was actually intended just to corral all the names so they could be written down and kept track of. But I imagine we can do it with two threads.
