He has been on Acana Ranchlands for 3 months. Grain free, I will not introduce any other foods, rabbit, beef, duck, he is used to so the only challenge would be the added chicken. He has been symptom free for a bit over 4 weeks. The chicken was just regular free range chicken no added anything.
Just a thought for in the future, once you are done with the challenge diets...pork rib tips (also called pork brisket) make a nice raw meaty bone that is not poultry, along with the others mentioned.
So it has been about 30 hours since first being fed chicken again. No digestive issues, stool is still firm and consistant to before the challenge. Skin and ears are still great no itching or scratching, although still may be too early for the skin to show symptoms.
He is still doing great, no symptoms whatsoever. I have been using a flashlight to check his ears as you suggested. I am starting to think perhaps the previous symptoms were due to an external change, such as girlfriend accidentally washing his bed with a scented detergent.

That's good news--and not surprising to me. Genuine food allergies are a pretty rare thing, despite the fact that so many people will immediately think "food allergy" at the first symptom.
Keep up the just chicken for long enough that you are 100% sure, then add turkey in the same way.
If and when you do decide to do a raw diet you'll be glad you have these two RMB sources available to you.

Ditto to Tracy.
I just re-checked the recommended provocation time period. I read on PetMD that dogs usually develop signs within two days but that the test should be for ten days (unless symptoms return).
No, absolutely nothing different. I called and told my vet, she said by now symptoms should be apparent. So I will give it another several days then add in turkey. Then if all goes well with that, start to figure out a good raw feeding routine.
