But he just finished his evening meal, and it wasn't his last.
Thanks to you, Mike. He will continue to feel the sunshine on his back. He will continue to find stinky things to roll in. He will continue to enrich the world with his presence.
He is adorable, Mike. Your whole pack is
Give Freya a kiss for me, ok?
Certainly not crazy. I, too, think there is a recognition in the behavior of a dog that has been from pillar to post, when it senses a forever connection.
And with Bam, the newest GSD to cross the threshold of our house, it looks like he's here for the longer run. Ah, what's an other mouth to feed?
He has and is adapting to the house rules. Still a ways to go but every day is a better fit into the way I like stuff to work out.
I was jaw dropping shocked when the Bride was musing about another dog in the house and noted that Bam was fitting in quite nicely. Bam will have been here two weeks this coming Monday, and he seems content with the environment. Little detours.
Ah well.

"Bam," the newest dog to cross our threshold, has undergone an appellation transformation. The German Shepherd Dog formerly known as "Bam" henceforth shall be known formally as Samson, named for a man of extraordinary physical strength, and commonly called "Sam."
I must not have much to occupy my time.
