Thanks connie, what about multivitaminic for humans ? It has also vitamina E and much more, but it has also calcium so maybe too much calcium isnt good ?
thanks
What you need are fish oil and E and a good diet.
No, not a multi-vitamin for humans.
And you do not want to give a multi-mineral at all, especially one with calcium.
About salmon oil, the 1 I get from shop doesnt say specific % of Omega 3 and 6.
From what I've understood omega 3 are the most important.
What about omega 3 Gel caps instead of random salmon oil ?
Gel caps suffer less problems then oil ( air exposure etc )
I found 1 product that has ONLY omega 3:
- 760mg Omega 3 for every 1000mg softgel
- Each serving contains a minimum of 530mg EPA and 90mg DHA. EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid
- Concentrated and purified Omega 3 Fish Oil, Vitamin E (Antioxidant), Softgel (Gelatin, Glycerol).
- Free of: Artificial colours and preservatives, yeast, gluten, starch and lactose. No added salt or sugar. GMO free.

Your product as described sounds OK.
The dog needs long-chain 3s. The dog doesn't have the same mechanism we have (and it's inefficient and unreliable in us, too) that can convert the land-plant-based 3s (like from flax, for example) to long-chain 3s. So your product that names the long-chain 3s (EPA and DHA) is good in that respect.
I would prefer that the fish be named as well, and maybe it is ... ?

nutritionist confirmed that the fish oil comes from a mixture of cold water oily fish, typically Sardines, Anchovies and Mackerel.

Good, especially anchovies and sardines. I want that on the package, every package, rather than by phone or email, but OK .....
