ok simon , now that you've revealed yourself . . . no , i'm not a bleeding heart leftists ( what a " leftists " ? ) , but i have got the common sense to know that how the dogs do or don't do their work has nothing to do with the performance of the current administration .

You think the public is stupid enough to think that the President trains the dogs, just like you want the public to believe that the current administration set immigration policy or the rules of engagement for the war in Afghanistan. I'm sure you'd like me to believe that the federal deficit belongs to the current admin, as well. Had this happened during Lil' Georgie's reign. this story would have been swept under the rug.

Back to dogs. What qualifications do you have that supercede the experience of the working canine handler posting in this thread? It is nothing new for an adrenaline-pumped perp to fight a dog. Some dogs will not release and rebite if they get a bad bite. Also, SS dogs do not get enough real-world bites to proof their performance. Sure, you can set up training scenarios for them, but the unexpected can happen during a real apprehension. Long story short, the perp was apprehended largely as a result of the black dog's actions.

i'm gonna put aside the left / right thing , but i'm still skeptical of a poster who comes on this site and has the audacity to state : " the fact that dogs suck . . . " .

that's kind of a red flag for me .

please let the guy explain his reasoning before the mods get here.
