Hi, thanks for the article. She cleared her second set of blood work after the first collapse. He said we could opt for an ultrasound but we never did. He said he didn't highly recommend it as she was so normal now. I'm wondering now if it's something to look into. I was reading more about hunting dog hypoglycemia and says it's more when they are chilled and under conditioned. Both times happen when she hadn't been out for a few days and she's always wet so that's hard to say. I guess I will just monitor her on this front and if it happens again do an ultrasound and whatever else. She's so so crazy I guess I forget she might need limits.
As far as pooping. She asked to go out so many times last night but couldn't poop. I wanted to hydrate her so crumbled saltine crackers in water to get her to drink as I hadn't seen her drink on her own. Her gums are pink and skin snaps back. I also noticed blood drops on her actual bum. I followed her out this morning but dk if she pooped. Saw a pile and dk if it was old or not. I wish I had just stuck my finger in now. If it was hers it was mushy but more solid than last few days and no blood. I also gave her pumpkin with water last night and a piece of dry toast this morning. I will cook some rice up for her. Is jasmine rice ok? It's those packaged ones. I'll add some pumpkin.
Thanks.

We have booked a vet appointment for tomorrow. She is not her usual crazy self. Took her for walk up street and she pooped. Most formed one yet but still soft. No blood!!! Will see of she's better with a normal meal in her tonight. Dk if I should do raw or her kibble.

Packaged rice, saltine crackers, toast, etc all have pretty high amounts of salt. A little bit isn't a big deal but it sounds like she's eating a lot of high salt foods these last few days.
Ya I don't exactly cook. Toast doesnt have salt!! Lol. She ate a normal meal tonight so hoping it keeps her poops getting more formed. No she has never had hookworms or any worms. She has had a fecal. Not super recently but not too long ago. She's acting more herself now and no blood and poop getting better. I forgot to mention before the diarrhea started she had been really gassy. She's really sensitive to food so I'm hoping this all just from the kibble she's on...now I have half a big bag left and I'm scared to feed her the rest...ugh
Idk what to ask in regards to the weakness the other day though...I'm still not sure exactly what happened or if it's separate or related to the diarrhea.
