I am couching it tonight so I can Bob! I have been keeping eyes on her all day.. Thanks for the heads up, I thought upset stomach, if she is still the same tmrw, I think my holiday money is going to be a flyout for the both of us!
ALL fingers & paws crossed here for Dot's speedy bounce-back to good HEALTH -- I don't give my dogs rawhide products, since they can cause intestinal trouble, as Bob warns, but I do give "cow knuckle" bones instead (somewhat sparingly, because they're quite rich & can cause The Runs in too much quantity) ... And then once Dot is feeling better, I'm really hoping that Jazz will "learn how to just be a DOG all over again" by simply following her lead (having another Confident & Calm K9 Companion is often all it takes)

Well that couch sleep was awful, most uncomfortable piece of furniture in the house!
High note, she slept the whole night, and she had a half diarrhea, ending in firm poo this am. She still isn't eating much, but I am going to go back a few steps and remove a cup of dry kibble and replace it with wet food. She has been dreaming and relaxing so far this morning. I sent the hubby to go get puppy chow and unflavored pedialyte in case she gets more diarrhea in the near future.
Thankfully she is still consuming water, quite a bit, and I am hoping yesterday was not a setback, but just her body getting used to regular meals and good nutrition. I am sure I would feel the same to have my body wake up.. She still wants rawhides, so I had to hide them.
Jazz is pissed the house is full of lady dogs, and since he has no manners around the two little ones, he is confined to his crate, or put in the porch..
Hopefully the two little ones will be on their way home today, so we can get back to a quiet recovery routine..
What would you consider a good wet food dry food ratio per meal? I was doing just a tbsp of the wet food to a 1 1/4 cups of dry food, with a tsp of yogurt, tip of a tsp of coconut oil, a dab of salmon oil, a wee bit of bacon grease, and rice and chicken. Can my prepped meals be doing more harm than good?
I just don't want to do anything wrong, I cut out the biscuits, too, for now.

There does seem to be quite a few different oils in there.. especially if her body isn't used to it. My dogs don't get any bacon grease as it flies through them and ends in diarrhea. I also have a dog that is lactose intolerant and will puke immediately if given anything with milk or cream in it...
If she's feeling icky, I would stick to just the boiled rice and chicken for a few days. Then add things in one at a time and let the body adjust to each addition before adding another one.
Just my 2 cents

The Vet said puppy chow would be her best option instead of a flyout. I got the spouse to pick me up a bag from town and bring it back this morning, opened it, took out a small handful, and offered it to her..She loves it and was looking for more..thank god.. Will mix some in her meal in two hours, just a few kibbles. She also ate her wet food/dry food mixed with chicken and rice, omitted the yogurt and all oils for now, and tossed out the grease.. When she is able to, what would be a good long lasting treat for a voracious chewer like her? I am not willing to risk another rawhide, tho it could have been anything to turn her ill.
She is wearing one of my thermal turtlenecks, and frankly looks better in it than I di -36 windchill here, so we are making a quick job of pottying!
After her meal, she is laid out sideways and stopped shivering. I am so grateful for you guys, this is tough to do, new to me, and hard with the two little sh!ts acting up..I would't let them on my couch, its against their owners rules, so they thanked me by vomiting on my carpet and having pity parties in the corner..one more day with them and than I can focus just on Miss Dot and cleaning my hair filled house!

You can try an antler chew and see if she likes it. A frozen knuckle bone once in a while is a nice treat - though I tend to give those outside as they can be messy.
My dogs get bully sticks, but they don't last very long - even the super monster ones.
What keeps my dogs occupied is peanut butter stuffed into one of these http://leerburg.com/1545.htm and frozen. It will keep my trouble makers busy for a good long time, and they are often exhausted from the battle with the toy. For some reason, they like this toy and won't touch a Kong. I actually have one of these in my back seat right now because I brought Drift to work and she wanted to bring it with...

I have a bunch of pizzle sticks, they look the same as bully sticks, but smell as bad as pigs ears. She has almost firm poo now, but doesn't want her pm meal. She is still drinking water, and is sleeping again..
Everyone is at odds here today, the little ones owner does not cut their nails, so I trimmed them myself, damn things were curled over, dew claws snailed and the shortest nail was an inch..now they are ignoring me and cuddling with Dot, since I am the monster that manhandled them lol.
Really frustrating to see Dot shivering, but besides a warm bed and the woodstove going there is not much I can do to help her, wish I had a heated blanket!

Shivering also helps WARM the body itself
Vomiting & Diarrhea along with Dehydration can cause Shivering too...
You want to make sure Dot has constant access to plenty of fresh water, and you do NOT want to Over-Heat her (which can also be a cause of shivering, as in having "the chills" with a fever) -- Most likely "this too shall pass" once she feels better & settles down ... I would not let the other dogs pester Dot at all (excitement & stress can cause Shivering from adrenaline & cortisol flooding).

Thanks Candi! Jazz is porched for now and the other 2 are going to be put in Dot's crate. I moved her crate bed by the couch and will be sleeping beside her until she feels better, she will have the choice of either bed tho, whichever she prefers.
Thanks everyone!
