What a sweet little girl! It breaks my heart to think what her fate could have been. I'm so happy she was rescued -- in every sense of the word -- by your sister and her family.

She is fabulous! Great looking little girl, and considering the condition they found her in, she looks remarkably confident, I think she looks right at home!
Thanks for posting these photos, Kelly, I check in here everyday, and this story has made me smile very wide, just fantastic to know that there are good and kind people out there, who are prepared to give a dog a good and happy life.
I'll look forward to seeing her grow, and to read all the mischief she gets up to

I too want to thank you Kelly. So wonderful to see that cute girl and to know she has found such a good home. Very much looking forward like tracey to hearing some day the continuation of her life.

Cute tricks taught with markers are still a great part of the bonding process and a excellent excuse to play with the dog.....even though I didn't do to many of them.
When my daughters were young and learning the piano all they had to do was ask Rocky (Kerry Blue) if he wanted to sing and he would race to their room with the piano.
I taught him how to shake, literally.
He was my first show dog and competition OB dog.
When he got a bath I would hold him after the rinse and the say "Shake" and let go of him.
He picked that up quickly and surprised a lot of folks when they asked him to shake.
