"The pits are not possessive towards the kongs. I can take it out of their mouth without them resisting. Same with other items, also with the food bowl (which I do only occasionally, to let them know it's MINE. smiley for You see I am the possessive one)
How about with one another when one has the Kong?
I guess, Slippie would try to steel it from her sister. I've seen this long time ago when I sometimes threw a ball. Slippie is not in the least interested in any toys, but in steeling yes. Socks is more agile than her, she mostly went of with the ball, but Slippie ambushed her on some spot. Things then began to escalate. Slippie never bit her sister, but she had a facial expression and a kind of barking which made me fear it might be the start of a fight. That's why I don't allow this any more. For this they have their kongs only in their separate kennels.

Ha,figured out his issue. I firm correction for biting today, and back on the short lead, and he is eating again. Was not a play bite, it was a turn on the leash because I wouldn't let him jump up and bite a kid snap. Was smooth sailing the rest of the day here!
He was a good boy the rest of the day, he catches on fast, glad I did research the breed, with males you absolutely have to be the leader.
-50 c wind chill today here! Another day of indoor play!
He's so cute! And you're so mean not to have given him to me!
I can believe he doesn't mind really the cold. He naturally wears a true fur coat. Perfectly equipped for winter time.
